Sales Account Manager

Job Description Position SummaryThe Sales Account Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the account, ensuring alignment between the directives of Mad Engine Global and Walmart's requirements. The role will focus on Walmart, building and maintaining strong, professional relationships. The AM will also manage all communication between the cross-functioning teams withing Mad Engine Global and ensure clear and efficient collaboration. The responsibility of the AM is to understand Walmart's business needs, priorities and challenges to deliver tailored solutions and strengthen the partnership.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee the product assortment for the Walmart account, ensuring that the right mix of products is available to meet demandAttend and participate in weekly internal meetings – including but not limited to Design, Product Development, Production and Sales meetings.Crosscheck and review incoming orders for accuracy, delivery and completion.Manage and communicate sample requests and WIPs with pre-production and production teams.Assist in the licensing submission and approval process for all orders start to finish.Maintain internal platforms such as Basecamp and Nuxeo to ensure style numbers are generated, WIPS are up to date, projects are managed and communicated in a timely manner.Delegate tasks to your team members while reviewing and managing their workload to ensure consistent submissions done in accordance with company and account specific requirements and timelinesConcise and professional communications with inside teams and outside contractors, accurate tracking and reporting of work order status, and making sure orders ship on time without chargebacks and/or expense off-setsWork with team to run daily and weekly reports to ensure purchase orders are shipping on timeWork with team to ensure all product delays, product changes and shortages are conveyed accurately and in a timely matter to rest of teamAssist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as neededReview vendor manuals and update all packing instructions to comply with current customer requirements - communicate with sales rep to clarify any potential issues in a proactive mannerResearch and resolve chargebacks from customers to prevent future occurrencesWork across multiple departments including Licensing, Creative, Sales to ensure all deadlines are met.Benchmark & competitor shop all categories for market meetingsMinimum QualificationsAttention to detail is criticalAt least 2 years of experience in managing key accounts and driving sales growth in a wholesale environment.Ability to follow directions and ask clarifying questionsAbility to work independently and within a team environment while delegating tasksIntermediate to Advanced Excel knowledgeStrong organization and time-management skillsExperience with ERP systems (AMT)Proficient in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of warehouse flow & inventory reconciliation practicesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast paced and performance-based environment.Experience entering and retrieving data on web-portals and various vendor sitesExperience with EDIDatabase set-up and management
