We strive to recruit the best talent in the industry and give employees opportunities for continuing education and training to help them advance in their careers.Job ResponsibilitiesCorrectly read and interpret shop orders for correct paint color and optionsUtilize airless and/or conventional spray equipment for application of paints, lacquers, or enamels to metal surface where medium quality finish is required; ensure work assignments pass process checks and final inspectionMaintain and keep equipment and area in a safe, clean condition and working orderUtilize automated or manual monorail for moving product in and out of paint boothClean and maintain, on a daily basis, equipment used in the paint boothUtilize hoist, cranes, and lift tablesPrepare surfaces for painting as required by cleaning or other methods as requiredComply with all company environmental policyMay do masking and two-toning and operate drying equipmentComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.Job RequirementsNo minimum education requiredNo prior experience requiredMust adhere to all safety rules and requirements, including proper use and fit of respirators and other personal protective equipment. This may include maintaining a clean-shaven face at all times due to OSHA regulationsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 poundsAbility to stand, walk, and sit upAbility to use hand to finger, handle, and feelAbility to climb and balanceAbility to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawlAbility to reach with hands and armsAbility to see, talk, and hearThe pay range for this position is $17.93 - $25.76/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
