If you are highly motivated and interested in tackling the most challenging problems, we’d love to hear from you.\nGuRu has a highly talented, focused engineering team and is looking for a passionate DevOps engineer experienced in supporting embedded-system development and IT infrastructure. You’ll partner with the whole organization to design scalable, secure, and resilient DevOps practices, tools, and systems.\nResponsibilities\nProvision, update, and manage end-point hardware – Deploy new laptops and servers, configure baseline security settings, and conduct regular health checks to maintain compliance, security, and high performance\nImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Action, GitLab CI) to automate build, test, and deployment stages\nInstall, configure, and maintain on-prem license management servers to ensure uninterrupted access to tools\nIntegrate server health checks into CI/CD monitoring dashboards for real-time visibility\nEvaluate and implement new tools, sharing best practices across the teams\nAutomate provisioning and configurations using infrastructure-as-code solutions\nCollaborate with engineering teams to identify infrastructure needs and remove development bottlenecks\nConfigure, maintain, and monitor network infrastructure, upholding network availability and security\nNecessary qualifications\n5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, IT, or Infrastructure\nHands-on experience automating workflows and repetitive tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and other shell environments\nStrong coding abilities for building automation, monitoring tools, internal apps, and infrastructure software\nProficient with build systems and configuration tools (e.g. Make, CMake) to generate reliable, repeatable builds\nExperience with version-control systems for source-code management and collaboration\nSkilled in cross-platform deployment and environment configuration across Linux, macOS, and Windows ecosystems\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals, including configuration of interfaces, firewalls, and common protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)\nKnowledge of Unix/Linux environments\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nExpertise in troubleshooting and technical support to identify and resolve hardware or software issues effectively\nExperience with network security, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data against potential threats\nPreferred qualifications\nCollaborated with development and security teams to embed compliance checks, secret management, and policy-as-code into CI/CD workflows\nImplemented configuration management practices to enforce consistent system states across environments\nWorking at GuRu\nWe offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our products.
