The successful candidate will integrate and coordinate with other departments, project partners, regulators, and outside organizations working on operator training.\nResponsibilities\nDevelops Maintenance & Technical (M&T) training processes, programs, and procedures for a newly developed training department, ensuring compliance with company standards, NRC regulations, INPO accreditation criteria, and other codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.\nDevelops and executes a strategy for training program initial accreditation.\nUses the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) to develop new high-quality training curriculum for maintenance and technical personnel.\nRevises training programs to maintain instructional and technical accuracy based on plant design changes, modifications to plant procedures, and changes in plant processes.\nParticipates actively in the Training Curriculum Review Committee.\nCoordinates with management, the emergency response organization, and other organizations in the development and improvement of training programs.\nPrepares trainee examination material and trainee evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments, as appropriate.\nPrepares processes for training performance evaluations, trainee counseling sessions, and individualized training programs.\nIncorporates information gained from INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, NRC Circulars, Bulletins, and Information Notices, plant design changes, plant procedure changes and revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports into the training program and various training material.\nParticipates in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepares responses to audit findings.\nDevelops and maintains knowledge of plant design, plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, to develop effective, high-quality training.\nSupervises the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports required to document training program activities.\nAssists Training Management in establishing department goals and budget estimates.\nProvides training and instruction on Electrical Systems including operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of nuclear plant electrical systems such as pumps, valves, turbines, and heat exchangers.\nDesigns and conducts practical lab exercises, mock-up scenarios, and on-the-job training to enhance Electrical maintenance skills.\nTeaches and reinforces proper use of maintenance procedures, technical manuals, and work packages emphasizing safety and regulatory compliance.\nEvaluates trainees’ Electrical proficiency through written tests, performance evaluations, and hands-on demonstrations.\nRequirements\nMinimum of 6 years total experience, including:\nAt least 2 years of commercial power plant experience in a nuclear electrical maintenance discipline\nAt least 4 years of military nuclear experience\nRelevant experience and academic degrees may be considered.\nMastery of skills and extensive knowledge in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying Maintenance & Technical (M&T) training programs.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nExcellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.\nAttention to detail and passion for training excellence.\nHigh degree of trust, integrity, and strong communication skills.\nAbility to foster teamwork and adapt to changes in plant design, procedures, and schedules.\nSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
