Job Title: Paratransit Driver (Non-CDL) HIRING IMMEDIATELYLocation: Portland, OregonEmployment Type: Full-TimePay Rate: $18.00 per hourJob SummaryWe are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and safety-focused Paratransit Driver (Non-CDL) to provide transportation services for individuals with disabilities, seniors, and passengers with special needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service, safe driving practices, and a commitment to supporting passengers with dignity and respect.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely transport passengers to and from scheduled destinations in a timely manner.Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, including those using mobility devices such as wheelchairs or walkers.Always provide courteous and professional customer service.Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining flexibility for passenger needs.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.Ensure compliance with company policies, local traffic laws, and safety regulations.Maintain accurate trip logs, reports, and documentation.Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors regarding delays, incidents, or passenger concerns.Qualifications & RequirementsValid Oregon driver’s license (Non-CDL).Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.Minimum age of 21 years (preferred).Ability to safely operate a passenger vehicle or van.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and assist passengers as needed.Basic knowledge of Portland area streets and routes (preferred).Previous experience in transportation, customer service, or caregiving is a plus but not required.Work ScheduleFull-time hours Monday-Friday with possible weekends, evenings, and holidays depending on service needs.BenefitsCompetitive hourly payOpportunities for growthSupportive team environmentAccessibility van will be provided
