In addition we couple our highly innovative and differentiated products with a culture of service and quality, giving our customer the competitive advantage to succeed in their business.\r\nCategory\r\nManufacturing\r\nDescription\r\nOverall Purpose:The CNC Programmer is responsible to write and prove new and existing programs to ensure dimensionally correct machined components.\r\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\r\nProgram CNC Machines utilizing Mastercam for both Mills and Lathes\r\nReview incoming job orders and prepare programs per revision\r\nThe ability to work with machinists to produce efficient and accurate programs with existing equipment\r\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, policies for attendance and punctuality and standards for safetyOther Duties:\r\nOther duties based on the needs of the Machine ShopThe preceding functions have been provided as examples of the types of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification. Management reserves the right to add, modify, change or rescind work assignments and to make reasonable accommodations as needed.\r\nPosition Requirements\r\nQualification Requirements:\r\nMinimum 5 years of CNC programming experience\r\nMust be capable of programming using Master Cam Mill / Okuma Lathe\r\nMust be familiar with Okuma lathes, HAAS milling machines and Daewoo/Fanuc Control\r\nAbility to program 5th axis Milling\r\nStrong understanding of GD&T\r\nMust be capable of performing duties and responsibilities with minimum supervision\r\nAble to read and understand blue prints\r\nKnowledge of basic measuring tools, calipers, micrometers, comparators and math required\r\nFluent in English (able to read, speak, write and understand)\r\nMust be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)Physical Demands:\r\nWhile performing duties of the job, the employee is required to:Regularly stand, walk, and reach with both hands and arms\r\nPerform repetitive motions\r\nRegularly lift 15+ poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focusWork Environment:Machine Shop environment with moderate to high noise level\r\nMust be US Persons based on ITAR definition (US Citizen or Permanent Resident).*This position is expected to be exposed to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
