Quality Systems Specialist Location: Santa Clara, CACompensation: $27.88–$31.25 per hour – paid weeklySchedule: Day shift | Monday–FridayJob Type: Contract | Full-timeContract Length: Expected to last 2–3 monthsWork Setting: On-site (not a remote position)About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Quality Systems Specialist II for a medical device manufacturing company in Santa Clara, CA. In this short-term contract role, you’ll support key Quality Management System (QMS) activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality requirements. This opportunity is ideal for a quality professional looking to make an immediate impact in a regulated manufacturing environment.What You’ll Do as a Quality Systems Specialist IIInitiate, investigate, and close Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMRs)Support investigations and root cause analysis for complaints, RMAs, and returnsCoordinate and support CAPA activities, including corrective and preventive actionsEscalate quality issues into the CAPA system based on trending and data analysisMaintain and update quality system documentation and recordsPresent quality and product performance data to management as neededSupport internal and external audits, including regulatory and customer auditsMonitor and track key quality metrics and continuous improvement initiativesWhat You Need to Bring to the Quality Systems Specialist II RoleAssociate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Technical field, or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing or quality environmentWorking knowledge of GMP, ISO, and Quality Management SystemsExperience with investigations, data analysis, and cross-functional collaborationStrong written and verbal English communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionMedical device or other regulated industry experience preferredQuality certifications (ASQ CQT, CQI, etc.) are a plus Work Environment & Physical RequirementsOffice-based environment with moderate noise levelsRegular sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, and computer useOccasional exposure to manufacturing areas, moving machinery, and noiseAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionallyRequired use of PPE as designated by training or signage Why You’ll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (preventative and minimum value plans), and support from a dedicated local recruiter.
