Candidates with PIF experience should be prepared to discuss their specific role, responsibilities, and technical experience with the system.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nCandidates may be asked to deliver a short presentation on a technical topic of their choice as part of the interview process.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\n\nMaster's Degree in a related computer or engineering field with 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience.\n7+ years of commercial product development experience.\nProficiency in more than one of the following: RPG & CL, DB2 SQL, SQL Procedure and User Defined Functions.\nSolid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles (SOLID).\nExperience with agile software development in a geographically distributed environment.\nPast technical responsibility for shipping a software product (consulting experience not considered).\nComprehensive understanding of various testing types (unit, system, integration, performance).\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.\nDemonstrated ability to coach and mentor others.\nKnowledge of cross-platform development is recommended.\nExperience with software version control is required.\n\nThe position requires deep experience with RPGLE/RPG IV, CL, Db2 for i, SQL, IBM i application development, JSON, REST integrations, secure development, Agile delivery, and controlled change management.
