This role will contribute to the design, configuration, integration, and deployment of secure network infrastructure in a classified environment. The position offers exposure to the NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program and the opportunity to develop cybersecurity accreditation expertise alongside hands-on engineering responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesConfigure, test, and deploy network infrastructure components including access points, controllers, firewalls, and security infrastructureSupport the development of Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs) and coordinate deployment activities through established change management processesPerform lab testing and validation of system configurations prior to production deploymentProduce and maintain technical documentation including network diagrams, as-built drawings, and configuration recordsSupport the development of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and CSfC accreditation artifacts as the program maturesTroubleshoot and resolve network and integration issues during deployment and operational testingRequired QualificationsActive U.S. Department of Defense Top Secret security clearanceDoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II baseline certification (Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, or equivalent)2+ years of hands-on experience with network engineering in DoD or Federal environments, including routing, switching, firewall administration, or wireless infrastructureDemonstrated understanding of network architecture fundamentals, transport security, and encryptionExperience producing technical documentation such as network diagrams, configuration guides, or implementation plansBachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may substituteDesired QualificationsFamiliarity with NSA's Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program and associated Capability PackagesExperience with wireless infrastructure (access points, controllers, site surveys, RF or optical wireless)CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certificationExperience supporting RMF documentation or ATO processes in DoD environmentsActive TS/SCI eligibilityThinkTek LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE), making decisions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, or any other protected class.
