Candidates should be detailed minded, have good organizational skills, be highly motivated, and very enthusiastic. This key leadership position drives quality and consistency of the center experience. You will utilize your talents to manage the classroom during instructional hours, including coaching and training a team of instructors, and ensuring students are provided with effective and concise math instruction that makes sense to them. Lead Instructors are responsible for assuming the Center Director’s duties in his/her absence.\n\nRequirements:\n\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nUnderstand the company mission, our families needs and work in conjunction with the Center Director in creating a fun and positive learning environment\nConduct center tours and consultative sales presentations while building with parents Schedule assessments and effectively enroll students\nDemonstrate good judgment in stressful situations\nAct as Manager On Duty, open center as needed. Ability to close is a MUST!\nManage the center during instructional hours, including assigning students to instructors and adjusting student/instructor ratios as necessary\nEnsure all instructors utilize the Mathnasium Method when teaching students\nReview student needs and educational status with the Center Director on an ongoing basis\nProvide feedback to the Center Director regarding Instructor performance\nParticipate in local marketing events\n\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nMust know math concepts through 12th grade\nExcellent communication skills; ability to build and nurture strong relationships with families and staff\nProviding solutions and overcoming conversational objectives\nDemonstrate good judgment in stressful situations\nExcellent communication skills and ability to build and nurture strong relationships.\nCollaborate leadership; ability to train and engage staff as well as delegating responsibilities\nWork independently with minimal supervision\nStrong comprehension of Microsoft Office and Google Docs\nHigh School diploma or G.E.D., some college preferred\nThis is a part time position. Lead Instructors typically work between 20 to 25 hours a week, based on center needs.
