This position will support maintenance of CMP equipment on the back nights compressed work week shift (Wed, Thu, Fri, every other Sat, 6:15 PM to 6:30 AM). Must practice excellent trouble-shooting methods and be able to work effectively in a team environment.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nRepair and maintenance of CMP equipment, including AMAT Mirra and Mirra Mesa tools, DNSE AS2000 Post Clean and Daifuku Stockers, as well as wafer handling tools such as Kensington, Recif, and Cybeq sorters.\n\nTrouble-shooting electronic, electrical, and mechanical problems.\n\nWork safely with systems that contain radiation, electrical, mechanical, liquid, and gas hazards.\n\nDisassemble, adjust, and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and OEM manuals.\n\nPresent issues and solutions to the group. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills are essential.\n\nMust be a self-starter who can plan effectively, re-prioritize and ask for help when needed.\n\nRequirements/Qualifications:\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nAA degree (or planned completion in current academic year) in a technical field.\nOr equivalent military training or technical degree.\n\n7+ years of experience in CMP equipment maintenance.\n\nElectronic and mechanical aptitude. Passion for electronic and mechanical tinkering.\n\nAbility to apply theoretical/textbook concepts in practical, real-world applications.\n\nCreative thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\n\nMust be competent in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).\n\nStrong organization, documentation, and writing skills.\n\nA successful candidate must be self-directed, self-motivated and work in a highly team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.\n\nSpecial Requirements\n\nParticipation as an active member of the Fab 4 ERT (Emergency Response Team).\n\nAbility to meet the requirements of the ERT physical.\n\nMust pass a physical, fit test and medical clearance for the usage of a tight-fitting respirator (SCBA full face mask level).\n\nMust maintain physical requirements for wearing SCBA full face mask level.\n\nMust be able and willing to travel for training purposes.\n\nCritical Physical Requirements\n\nAble to lift, push, pull approx. 50 lbs; carry 50 lbs; sit 5%; stand 60%; walk 35%; must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, hearing, talking, seeing.
