The facility is located three miles outside of Northeast Nebraska's busiest community. Bloomfield is a haven for those who prefer small-town life over city living and is located less than 30 miles from recreation areas where you can enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking and camping. Our location produces liquid egg product that is sent to our other facilities for further processing.\n\nResponsibilities\nJOB SUMMARY:\n\nTo direct and load out product while maintaining equipment efficiencies and environmental cleanliness to ensure the highest quality product.\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nLoading of egg product onto tankers.\n\nAssembling of press and other product lines prior to morning start-up.\n\nResponsible for cleaning (CIPing) load-out lines, cooling press, silos and tankers.\n\nMaintain the cleanliness of breaking machines, floor and other areas in breaking room, washer area and tanker bay.\n\nEmpty inedible containers as necessary.\n\nAssist in the lunch time clean-up of breaking room and washer area.\n\nEnsure the proper routing of Cage Free/Conventional egg product throughout the breaking process – from breaker to tanker – dependent on separating or making whole egg.\n\nResponsible for the testing of chemical concentrations used in the CIP and breaking process.\n\nResponsible for all necessary products sampling and related testing (solids, fats, etc).\n\nAssist in giving employee breaks when necessary.\n\nMonitor temperatures of egg product throughout the process.\n\nMaintain all documentation related to the job duties.\n\nMinor maintenance on some of the equipment.\n\nBeing able to drive the jockey truck to move tankers.\n\nAdhere to all safety policies and procedures.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nEducation: No prior experience or training.\n\nExperience: No prior experience or training.\n\nLanguage Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.\n\nMathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.\n\nReasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.
