The position will operate in the Charleston, SC, metro area and the ability to visit client sites (3-5 days per month) when needed is required. Work will primarily be done remotely from your home office, requiring the candidate to have adequate and appropriate home office infrastructure and connectivity.\nResponsibilities:\nMonitor network systems, client device alerts and applications.\nResearch and remediate notifications and incidents that are reported through CCP Tech network monitoring tools and help develop strategies for reducing future occurrences, which could include capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, network configuration changes to name a few.\nProactively analyze Zero Trust logs to identify policies that may hinder application usability, then adjust as needed to reduce support tickets and reduce customer frustrations with Zero Trust.\nResearch and remediate notifications and incidents that are reported through the CCP Tech portals (such as UniFi, Meraki and Immy) and determine what, if anything, could reduce the likelihood of the event occurring in the future and implement solutions to reduce future events.\nResearch and remediate endpoint notifications, help identify patterns of concern and potential impending failures to ensure endpoint health.\nResearch and remediate incidents related to Entra Connect Sync between on-premises domain controllers and M365.\nServe as point person for server down critical alerts.\nExecute resiliency testing procedures across the CCP Tech customer landscape.\nCreate remediation documentation and runbooks to help reduce response times.\nPerform critical updates to firewall and networking equipment.\nProvide advice and counsel to the CCP Tech stakeholders, as needed. This could include providing counsel to the CCP Tech Leadership Team, organizational members, existing customers and potential customers.\nServe as a member of the Escalation Team in support of incident response using specialized knowledge of alerts, forensics & incident histories.\nDesired Skills and Experience\nBachelor’s degree or technical certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.\nExperience in operations engineering, system administration, or IT infrastructure roles.\nStrong knowledge of operating systems, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls) and command line interfaces.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with users and stakeholders at all levels of the organization\nAbility to work under pressure\nStrong customer service skills\nExperience working at an IT MSP company and field experience with great customer skills a plus.\nCCP offers:\nExcellent Salary\nPerformance-based Bonus Structure\nMedical/Dental/Vision/Life/Disability\nRetirement IRA program with employer contributions\nHolidays and Paid Time Off\nCCP Technologies is a full-service IT firm that has served small businesses in the Carolinas for over twenty-five years.
