In this role, you'll assist with developing, and testing platform independent (Windows, OS X, Linux) applications software and the integration with wired and wireless communication protocol stacks and embedded firmware systems in professional audio products. You will engineer solutions with diverse scope and provides mentorship and guidance to team members. Additionally, you will collaborate with other company divisions, including Marketing, to establish and review use cases and requirements, and software verification to define test plans.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and implement back-end business logic for operating system independent application software that controls and manages professional installed audio products\nCollaborates with marketing, software verification and system engineering to define platform independent application software use cases and requirements\nWorks independently with little direction and guidance on day-to-day tasks.\nPrototype application software using technologies such as Angular or HTML5/CSS\nFocused on designing, creating, and testing high quality code\nEstimates, organizes, and documents tasks under supervision of mentors\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience.\nPossess an understanding of key software design principles such as separation of concerns, high cohesion, and low coupling to facilitate reuse and maintainability in software architectures, designs, and implementations; ability to decompose large, complex software systems into manageable subsystems with clearly defined interfaces\nDevelopment experience TypeScript and NodeJS is required\nDevelopment experience in C/C++ is highly desired. C++11 and higher preferred.\nExperience applying SOLID and OO design principles is preferred.\nExperience developing software networking protocols utilizing TCP/UDP/IP and related protocols is preferred.\nDevelopment experience with gRPC is a plus\nDevelopment experience in Angular is a plus\nDeveloper experience with GraphQL is a plus\nFamiliar with writing unit tests to ensure high quality code.\nAble to apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.\nAble to follow standard instructions, practices, and procedures in analyzing situations or data\nApplicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
