Material Services Supervisor

STS Line Maintenance is hiring a Material Services Supervisor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is responsible for leading shift-based material operations and ensuring all parts, tooling, and logistics functions support aircraft maintenance efficiently and in full regulatory compliance.Position OverviewThe Material Services Supervisor reports to the Station Manager, Operations Manager, or Supervisor and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of their assigned shift.This role owns the coordination, control, and execution of all material support activities while maintaining accountability for safety, compliance, and operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all employees are working safely and using appropriate PPE and safety proceduresDevelop and mentor team members to improve productivity, engagement, and retentionDelegate tasks to team members while maintaining accountability for completionOversee planning, coordination, and execution of all material and support activities during the shiftEnsure all required materials, parts, and components are available and properly controlledMaintain accurate documentation and tracking of all materials and related recordsEnsure team members have required technical data and documentation prior to supporting maintenance tasksVerify all tools, equipment, and material handling devices are in proper working order and within calibration requirementsEnsure all entries are documented in WORP and uploaded to appropriate work ordersEnforce compliance with Air Carrier, STS policies, and FAA and EASA regulations related to materials and logisticsInitiate SOP-AIR-002 following any aircraft, vehicle, or employee incident as requiredComplete monthly calibrated tool audits by the 5th day of each monthPerform preventative maintenance inspections and documentation per SOP-QAL-002Conduct weekly Life Limited Aircraft Parts and Materials Control audits per RSQM 145-8Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of all materialsMaintain cleanliness and organization of STS facilities and vehiclesPerform additional duties as assignedLeadership ResponsibilityAssume all applicable responsibilities of the Station Manager or Supervisor in their absenceAbout STS Line MaintenanceSTS Line Maintenance operates a large network of line maintenance stations across the United States and international locations.
