Our team is dedicated to supporting customers, investing in our employees, and upholding the tradition of excellence the Built by Bens name represents.What Youll DoAs a Welder at Bens Structural Fabrication, you will be responsible for:\r\nFabrication & Welding\r\nReview and interpret shop drawings to determine weld type, size, and placement.\r\nFabricate structural and/or miscellaneous weldments according to specifications and drawings.\r\nSet up, adjust, and operate welding equipment safely and effectively.\r\nPerform GMAW-pulse (MIG) welding in flat and horizontal positions on various steel components.\r\nPrepare surfaces before and after welding (sanding, grinding, wire brushing, degreasing).\r\nQuality & Safety\r\nFollow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies at all times.\r\nInspect your work to ensure quality conformance using measuring devices, drawings, and visual checks.\r\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\r\nProductivity & Documentation\r\nComplete required production, quality, and time documentation accurately and on time.\r\nFrequently lift and handle materials weighing approximately 50100 pounds.\r\nSupport overall shop productivity through teamwork and adherence to standards in a fast-paced environment.\r\nAdditional Support (Non-Essential)\r\nProvide backup support across structural and miscellaneous fabrication areas as needed.\r\nAssist with general shop housekeeping and organization.\r\nPerform other work-related duties as assigned.This is a full-time, hourly position.
