Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit on shift. The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Quality Technicians. This individual must set quality assurance standards and align the organization to achieve these standards.\nResponsibilities\nThis role is 2nd Shift (1:30p-10:30p / Mon-Fri). Shifts are subject to change based on business needs\nProvides technical and process knowledge for water treatment/wastewater, product batching, product testing, package testing and supplier capability\nDemonstrates a working knowledge of production equipment (processing and packaging equipment) and its related impact on the overall quality\nOversees team execution of key food safety pre-requisite programs such as GMP compliance, sanitation, documentation and recordkeeping, regulatory audits, etc.\nMaintains up-to-date knowledge of process improvements and technical developments\nBuilds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for both management and front-line hourly personnel\nDevelops the team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals\nDelivers effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact\nCommunicates and collaborate cross-functionally to assist the team to solve operational issues\nMotivates team members to achieve plan goals\nEnsures compliance with all health & safety regulations including food safety\nSupport with regulatory audits/inspections (i.e. AIB, FDA, ISO F2200 Standard, GHEMS)\nAdminister policies and procedures\nRegular and predictable attendance at the worksite\nThis role requires regular presence on the plant floor\nThis role requires lifting up to 40 lbs. occasionally\nThis role requires occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow\nThis role may operate forklift and manufacturing equipment occasionally\nThis role may require off-shift and weekend work\nThis role may require some travel (less than 5%)\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field\nA minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience preferred\nPrevious experience within the quality control department of a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably consumer packaged goods preferred\nAbility to prioritize and perform multiple tasks efficiently and effectively\nProficient in Microsoft Suite applications\nAbility to give and receive constructive feedback\nAbility to lead a team-based approach to decision making\nDemonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment\nStrong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring skills\nEffective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills\nThis position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States\nCovid-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment dependent on role and location.
