Since our establishment, we have demonstrated and perfected our ability to manage the customer's needs, no matter how complex – offering exceptional service and the Precise solution.\nPrecise Systems seeks a Senior Software Developer to support our Navy customer in Dahlgren, Virginia.\nThis role performs 5 days per week, on site, in Dahlgren, Virginia\nDuties:\nDesign, implement, and test source code for the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System\nMentor and guide less experienced Developers\nDebug reported issues and provide causal analysis\nActively support all aspects of the system development lifecycle (analysis, requirements definition, design, coding, development and unit testing, maintenance and preparing associated documentation) with an emphasis on software development.\nRequired Education:\nBachelors degree in STEM related major\nAn additional four years of experience can substitute for a degree\nRequired Experience:\nMinimum 10 years' experience as a software developer in weapons systems, complex systems, or defense-related role/s\nHigh proficiency in C++ and Java required\nHigh proficiency with LINUX/UNIX required\nGreat communication skills\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required.
