The team manages the continuous operation, maintenance, and evolution of the world's largest single‑instance SAP deployment — a platform that sustains Apple's global supply chain and the integrity of its core financial systems.\nWe are searching for a technical, creative and hands‑on SAP Basis administrator to join the SAP Technology team. The Apple IS&T's Supply Chain Integration team for infrastructure is responsible for architecting, designing, deploying and managing various infrastructure lifecycle processes. We work with numerous application development teams and production support teams operating on on‑premise and cloud technologies such as AWS and GCP. As an SRE/DevOps engineer, you will partner closely with multiple cross‑functional teams for deployment of various solutions and supporting them.\nIn this role, you will be required to manage a team and provide optimal solutions for a complex and integrated landscape. You would be required to think broadly and quickly.\nDescription We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic team player to join our team as a SAP Basis Administrator. In this role, you will be required to manage a team and provide optimal solutions for a complex and integrated landscape. You would be required to think broadly and quickly.\nResponsibilities Monitor enterprise vulnerability and security management tools.\nCoordinate remediation activities with Infrastructure, Application, and Information Security teams.\nTrack remediation progress and support compliance timelines and audit requirements.\nAssist with patch coordination, operational reviews, and security reporting activities.\nPrepare dashboards, operational metrics, and management status reports.\nMaintain documentation and support compliance evidence collection.\nSupport daily operations of the enterprise workload automation environment.\nAssist with job scheduling, monitoring, agent support, and application onboarding activities.\nTroubleshoot scheduling and batch processing issues and support incident resolution efforts.\nCoordinate operational activities with Application Development and Production Support teams.\nMaintain operational runbooks and support documentation.\nSupport platform upgrades, patching, and change implementation activities alongside the central platform team.\nMonitor application health, operational alerts, and batch processing performance.\nSupport issue triage, escalation, and operational follow‑up activities.\nAssist with operational health reviews and reporting activities.\nIdentify recurring operational issues and support process improvement activities.\nWork with support teams to improve monitoring visibility and application stability.\nDevelop lightweight Python scripts and utilities to automate repetitive operational tasks.\nSupport reporting automation and REST API integrations where applicable.\nAssist with documentation updates and operational process improvements.\nParticipate in production support coordination activities.\nMinimum Qualifications 2 years of experience in production support, operations engineering, workload automation, or enterprise platform support.\n2 years of experience in supporting workload automation or enterprise job scheduling platforms.\n2 years of experience working with Linux/Unix environments.\n2 years of experience with Python scripting and REST APIs.\nUnderstanding of vulnerability remediation and operational support processes.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).\nPreferred Qualifications Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and documentation skills.\nStrong operational ownership and attention to detail.\nEffective cross‑functional coordination and communication skills.\nStructured troubleshooting and analytical thinking.\nAbility to manage multiple operational priorities in a production environment.\nProcess improvement and automation mindset.\nEEO Statement Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
