This role oversees multiple functional areas and leaders within the distribution environment, driving operational performance, inventory accuracy, and service levels. The position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to implement process improvements while supporting a fast-paced, multi-shift operation. The Manager, Distribution partners cross-functionally to optimize logistics strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives.Responsibilities: Essential DutiesDevelops and implements logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products to enhance product flowAssists in the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost controlConducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory, and analyzes requirements to develop strategies that achieve desired delivery times and order fill ratesMaintains appropriate records and prepares reportsCoordinates logistics activities with internal and external customersThe functions listed are not exhaustive and may include additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to timeScheduleThe traditional hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; flexibility is required due to the Distribution Center operating across two shifts, Monday - Friday.
