The role is responsible for planning daily work assignments and driver schedules while ensuring safe, efficient equipment movement and on‑time service performance. The supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for drivers and coordinates closely with shipping, receiving, and repair partners. Performance is measured through key metrics including on‑time shuttle and yard move execution, driver productivity, hours‑of‑service compliance, safety performance, and service disruptions or delays.ResponsibilitiesManage daily dispatch operations, including driver scheduling and workload planning for yard and regional shuttle activities.Monitor real‑time operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on‑time service execution.Lead and support drivers by providing direction, coaching, and day‑to‑day issue resolution.Enforce safety standards, DOT regulations, and Hours of Service compliance while monitoring safety performance.Partner with maintenance and repair teams to minimize equipment downtime and service disruptions.Escalate critical operational or safety issues and provide backup support for the Logistics Manager and Load Planner to ensure operational continuity.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of trucking processes, technology, transportation, and supply chain management.Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.Ability to assess problems, determine root causes, and work to resolution with a team.Self‑starter with the ability to work independently.Functional experience in warehousing, transportation, and supply chain management.Flexible work schedule with some evening and weekend coverage required.Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).QualificationsTwo (2) years or more related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
