This is an excellent opportunity to build your technical skills while gaining hands-on experience in a secure, mission-driven environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPlan, test, and implement system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and reliability.\nSupport RMF and ATO activities, including vulnerability scanning (ACAS, Evaluate STIG) and development of accreditation artifacts.\nIntegrate new software applications within complex, mission-critical environments.\nApply and maintain operating system security configurations in alignment with DISA STIG requirements.\nIdentify and resolve system flaws, implementing technical controls to strengthen cybersecurity.\nConduct vulnerability scans and assessments to safeguard systems from potential threats.\nTroubleshoot and resolve software issues within integrated environments to maintain seamless operations.\nEnsure compliance with DoD RMF, FISMA, NIST 800-53, and DoD SRG requirements.\n\nThis description outlines the general nature and scope of the role. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.\n\nRequirements:\n\nWhat You’ll Bring:\n\nThis position will require an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Cybersecurity, or a related area of study and at least one year of experience as a system administrator.\nWithout an associate's degree, candidates must have at least 3 years of related, system administration experience.\nWorking knowledge of vCenter/VMware is required.\nProficiency with Linux operating systems is required.\nExperience managing DoD Host Based Security Systems (HBSS) is preferred.\nDemonstrated experience managing Domain Name System (DNS) performance and reliability.\nProven experience implementing and maintaining local and group policies.\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) domain controller servers for managing authentication, authorization, and network resources.\nKnowledge of log aggregation and analysis across multiple sources.\nFamiliarity with Windows PowerShell is preferred.\n\nIT Certification Requirements:\n\nCompTIA Security+ certification is required.\nOperating system certification (e.g., Linux) is preferred.
