Commún works with directly impacted community members to design and lead programs, services, and spaces that meet our community’s most pressing needs. Our current programming supports mental health, case navigation, food security, community organizing, and economic vitality. Position Summary:Commún's Mental Health Program provides emotional and mental wellness services across the lifespan through individual, couples, family and group therapy, as well as somatic interventions like EMDR and auricular (ear) acupuncture. Services are currently offered in English, Spanish, and Arabic. This role provides in-person and community-based therapeutic services to children (ages 6+), adolescents, adults, couples, and families. ResponsibilitiesConduct diagnostic mental health assessmentsProvide individual, couples, family, and/or group psychotherapy Develop collaborative, client-centered, and culturally responsive treatment plans Facilitate the individual's growth and development with an emphasis on strengths, culture, resiliency, and wellbeing.Collaborate with internal and external partners to support the growth and development of those we serve.Coordinate care with a psychiatric provider.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with Commún standards.Participate in team meetings, training, and supervisionManage schedules effectively to maximize client access to care Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field from an accredited institutionBilingual: English and SpanishStrong clinical judgement and interpersonal skillsCommitment to ethical practices and professional growthKnowledge of diagnostic methods and models of psychotherapyUnderstanding of ethical principles and professional standardsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with basic computer systems and communication platforms Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekendsAbility to pass a background check due to work with children, adolescents, and familiesPreferred QualificationsThree or more years practicing as a licensed therapistLicensed LPC, LMFT or LCSWExperience working with diverse populationsGroup therapy experienceEMDR/somatic modalitiesWorking Conditions: Work is primarily performed in-office, with limited hybrid flexibility available upon approval.
