Maintain, enhance, and provide solutions for software applications.\n\nMajor Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities\nProvides and documents technical design and specifications to meet business and functional requirements.\nDevelops (code). Implements and maintains tools/applications.Performs unit testing prior to moving code/configuration to the QA process.\nAssists in the development and definition of test plans and scripts for performance, regression, and user acceptance test plans. Supports QA activities as required.\nBuilds and maintains templates, rules, style sheets, workflows, data extractions and imports, interfaces, and object models.\nAnalyzes applications for compliance with security protocols.\nResearch defects and solves for root cause in applications. Research upgrades, patches, and new functionality.\nParticipates in peer reviews.\nCareer Level Dimensions\nTypical Training/Experience\nTypically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.\nGenerally, 3-5 years of experience in a related field; certification is required in some areas OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field.\nCertification is required in some areas.\nProblem Complexity\nDemonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.\nAutonomy\nNature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct \"customers\" of the process.\nLeadership\nMay provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel or professional personnel.\nEnvironmental Job Requirements\nLocated in a comfortable indoor area.\nAny unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.\nMost of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
