The technologist ensures high-quality images while maintaining patient comfort and safety, following all regulatory and departmental standards.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerform CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.\nVerify patient identification and obtain relevant medical history prior to procedures.\nPosition patients and select appropriate technical factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.\nOperate and maintain imaging equipment in a safe and effective manner.\nAdhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.\nPrepare and administer contrast media as required, following safety and allergy protocols.\nEvaluate images for diagnostic quality and completeness before submission to radiologists.\nMaintain accurate patient records and documentation in the PACS/RIS systems.\nProvide excellent patient care and maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor.\nCollaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.\nParticipate in continuing education and maintain current certifications and licensure.\nQualifications:\nEducation: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.\nLicensure/Certification:\nARRT (R) certification required.\nARRT (CT)\nState Radiologic Technologist License\nCurrent BLS certification required.\nExperience: Minimum of 1 year experience in diagnostic radiology; CT experience .\nPrecision Scans is an equal opportunity employer, committed to cultural diversity.
