This role involves coordinating between fiber engineers, splicing subcontractors, the client representative, and project stakeholders. Key tasks include reviewing splice matrices, overseeing fusion splicing (backbone and lateral), conducting OTDR/Power Meter testing audits, splicing scheduling, and managing the close-out documentation for fiber networks. This position is a technical leadership role, requiring deep \"hands-on\" splicing knowledge to troubleshoot light loss issues and manage specialized splicing crews in the field.\nJob Duties\nDirectly supervises internal splicing crews and subcontractors, ensuring all fusion splicing, termination, and enclosure prep (FOSC) meet client specifications.\nPartners with Project Managers to review splice maps, fiber schematics, and assignment sheets to ensure crews have accurate data before hitting the field.\nAudits fiber test results (OTDR, Power Meter, and CD/PMD).
