This role works in a high volume, production-based environment performing a vital component of clinical lab science.\nSchedule: 1st Shift, Tuesday- Saturday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, required overtime as needed.\nJob Duties/Responsibilities:\nReceive and sort clinical lab specimens\nPrepare specimens for testing and analysis\nScan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information\nEnsure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance\nTroubleshoot any specimen related issues\nReplenish test bench supplies as needed\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment\nComplete record logs and other administrative duties as requested\nFollow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards\nJob Requirements:\nRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent w/1-2 years of experience\nPrevious medical/lab or production experience is preferred\nComfortability with handling biological specimens\nAbility to accurately identify specimens\nBasic computer knowledge and data entry skills\nHigh level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask\nAbility to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times\nStrong communication skills; both written and verbal\nAbility to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time\nMust pass a standardized color blindness test\nFlexibility to work overtime as needed\nBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
