Work is performed under the direction of, management and supervisory personnel.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform light to mid-level assembly operations using drawings, schematics, and customer specifications to assemble components and subassemblies.\nUse general shop equipment including pneumatic tools, power tools, and hand tools.\nWork with hazardous materials such as sealants, bonding agents, epoxies, and solvents in accordance with safety procedures.\nUtilize production work orders and related documentation to complete assigned tasks.\nEnsure all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly recorded.\nIdentify root causes of quality issues and assist with corrective actions.\nMentor and assist in training student trainees as assigned.\nMaintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.\nDetect and report defective equipment, materials, or unsafe conditions to supervision.\nFollow prescribed work instructions, quality standards, and safety regulations at all times.\nDevelop and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.\nMaintain regular attendance and punctuality as scheduled.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEligibility to work on export-controlled projects as required by applicable laws and regulations.\nAbility to perform mid-level math skills accurately, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.\nAbility to use measuring and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.\nAbility to follow direction from leads and supervisors to complete assigned tasks.\nAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers and supervisory personnel, both verbally and in writing.\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work requirements.\nAbility to accept feedback and work effectively in a fast-paced or stressful environment.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment with diverse personalities and communication styles.\nWillingness to take on additional responsibilities and challenges.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read, understand, and follow work instructions and procedures in English.\nAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nOne or more years of experience in the aerospace industry, including work with aerospace drawings and specifications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe physical demands and work environment described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
