The job is about maintaining our equipment in a safe way to a high standard. Focusing on planned preventive maintenance, you will mitigate risks by proactively addressing and resolving issues to raise the availability and quality of the equipment.\nShift Pattern: works non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends.\nClustering: works across multiple sites.\nOn-Call: responsible for emergency cover.\nKey job responsibilities Put health & safety best practices first, ensuring compliance with all health & safety standards and regulations.\nCarry out planned preventive maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.\nReact quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties, and work efficiently to fix the issue.\nSupport continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.\nProvide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.\nSupport and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.\nManage contractors.\nBasic Qualifications NVQ Level 3 / SVQ Level 3 / IVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 / EAL Level 3 specialized in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.\nRelevant experience as a qualified engineer.\nRelevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.\nAdvanced proficiency in the local language, verbally and in writing.\nPreferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Mechanical or Electrical.\nExperience with material handling equipment (MHE) safety standards according to OEM and safety standards.\nExperience with robotic operation and maintenance.\nAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
