This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on maintenance work, diagnosing electrical issues, and keeping critical plant equipment operating safely and efficiently.\r\nThe ideal candidate will have experience working with industrial electrical systems, motors, controls, and preventative maintenance programs in a manufacturing or processing environment.\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\n\r\n\r\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and mechanical equipment\r\n\r\n\r\nPerform electrical maintenance on motors, control panels, wiring, sensors, switches, VFDs, and related equipment\r\n\r\n\r\nTroubleshoot equipment failures quickly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency\r\n\r\n\r\nComplete preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment and systems\r\n\r\n\r\nRepair and/or replace broken or non-functioning equipment by analyzing problems and determining required materials or parts\r\n\r\n\r\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical specifications\r\n\r\n\r\nFabricate plant items using welders, torches, band saws, presses, and other shop tools\r\n\r\n\r\nMaintain plant sanitation and safety standards\r\n\r\n\r\nSupport continuous improvement and reliability initiatives\r\n\r\n\r\nPerform other duties as assigned\r\n\r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n\r\n\r\nValid MN state Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician License\r\n\r\n\r\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\r\n\r\n\r\nMinimum 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience with a strong emphasis in electrical systems\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong working knowledge of industrial electrical troubleshooting and repair\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience with motors, electrical controls, relays, sensors, VFDs, and PLC troubleshooting preferred\r\n\r\n\r\nMechanical, construction, or manufacturing maintenance experience helpful\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to read and understand electrical schematics, computer printouts, and equipment specifications\r\n\r\n\r\nSkilled in operating forklifts, bobcats, and end-loaders\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong communication, organizational, and time management skills\r\n\r\n\r\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to participate in an on-call rotation as needed\r\n\r\n\r\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen\r\n\r\n\r\nWhy Join Us?\r\nAg Processing Inc (AGP) is a cooperative that processes, sells and transports soybeans, grains, and related products.
