Coordinate daily activities between the onsite team and offshore development teams.\nServe as the primary point of contact for technical and functional issues.\nOptimize mainframe programs for performance and efficiency.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs.\nParticipate in and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.\nSupport user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployment activities.\nProficiency in Mainframe COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM and CICS.\nIn-depth knowledge of IBM mainframe tools for development, debugging, and system management, such as z/OS, ISPF, TSO, File-aid and SCM is required.\nGood understanding of Mainframe code migration from development to a production environment, which involves Package creation, code promotion to Test, QA and PROD regions.
