Conveyor Systems Project Engineer/ Manager

Role OverviewSeeking two experienced Conveyor Project Engineers/ Managers.need proven project managers with conveyor mechanical knowledge to lead the project(s) and know that the engineering, cost, setup/installation of the conveyor components, validations and performance requirements as examples are met during all phases of the project.This is not a design/CAD role—the focus is project management and execution.Engineers will be responsible for conveyor systems from design through startup and validation.Key responsibility is ensuring suppliers meet conveyor standards and specifications (GCS1).Required Experience & SkillsStrong background in automotive or transportation-related industries preferred.Conveyor technologies experience should include:Chain conveyorsSkidSkilletEMSPaint shop conveyorsCandidates with experience in only one or two systems may be considered case by case.Other industries may be reviewed individually, but automotive is strongly preferred.EducationBachelor’s degree preferred, ideally mechanical (electrical also acceptable).Equivalent experience ( hands-on conveyor or trades experience) will be considered.Travel & Work ScheduleUp to 50% travel within the U.S.Can involve extended on-site assignments (months at a time).allows travel home periodically (e.g., every other weekend).Primarily first shift/day shift, but flexibility required:Key Takeaways for SuppliersAutomotive, or heavy transport conveyor experience clearly.Be explicit about which conveyor technologies candidates have worked with.Candidates must be travel-flexible and comfortable with on-site startup work.
