Your JobAs a Machine Shop Technician, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing operations by setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of machining, assembly, and test equipment. Your work ensures high‑quality parts and components are produced safely, accurately, and on schedule.Our TeamYou will be part of a collaborative manufacturing team in Salisbury, working closely with engineers, technicians, and quality partners. The team is focused on precision, safety, and continuous improvement to support reliable, high‑performance products.What You Will DoSet up, operate, and maintain manufacturing machines, tools, and test equipment, including: Milling, drilling, and routing using LPKF routersDicing / chip saw equipmentSoldering ironsLaser printers and weldersGross leak chambers and portable leak detectorsUse Circuit CAM and Boardmaster software to support design and manufacturing activitiesRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to produce parts to specificationUse precision measuring instruments to verify quality, accuracy, and compliancePerform routine quality checks and maintain accurate production and inspection recordsMonitor machine performance and report issues or malfunctions promptlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety protocolsCollaborate with team members to improve processes, efficiency, and product qualityAssist with troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing and production issuesParticipate in continuous improvement initiativesWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a machine shop or manufacturing environmentHands‑on experience operating equipment such as LPKF routers, dicing/chip saws, soldering irons, laser printers/welders, and leak test equipmentExperience using Circuit CAM and Boardmaster softwareAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience using precision measurement tools and following quality control proceduresKnowledge of manufacturing processes and metal fabrication techniquesStrong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanshipAbility to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environmentStrong organizational and time‑management skillsEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsWillingness to work flexible shifts as neededWhat Will Put You AheadExperience supporting regulated or high‑precision manufacturing environmentsStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to identify process improvementsDemonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvementExperience maintaining detailed production or inspection documentationAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
