Support Design Engineers by making drawing changes as they offer technical support to line operations, sales, and warranty in specialty areas. Operate CAD computer to prepare drawings and schematics, assists in building parts and testing as required to validate and implement designs.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n\nCollects and consolidates product or material information from several sources.\n\nCreates or adjusts scale of detail drawing as required, makes accurate-to-scale drawings, at times three-dimensional.\n\nDraws sectional views to clarify positioning of components. Draws sub-assemblies with irregular shapes, multiple functions, and precise positional relationships between components. May calculate quantities of materials used, using established formulae or manuals. Assesses the effects of each change to form, fit and function.\n\nMay work with sales/customers on order review and/or change orders and may aid production personnel. Must be able to prioritize duties.\n\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\n\nMust have strong skills in drafting programs (AutoCAD).\n\nKnowledge of MRP systems, Microsoft and database systems and comfortable working with computers.\n\nMust be a current college student.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\n\nWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.\n\nThe employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit.\n\nThe employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.\n\nThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.\n\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.\n\nTEREX CORPORATION EOE STATEMENT\nTerex Corporation is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
