Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete, lattice, and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nOperate any or all the following machines: Cut Tables, Quick Mill Machine, HAAS Machine, Drill Press\nForm and/or cut materials into predesignated shapes and sizes\nOperate overhead cranes and/or forklifts to move materials safely\nTroubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments\nMake general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequence\nFollow all safety rules and practices\nOther job duties as assigned\n\nWhat You'll Need:\nMinimum of 1 year of experience operating a 20’ or larger break press, Plasma Table, or Drill Press, preferably breaking and/or cutting steel up to 2” thick\nWorking knowledge/experience with angle grinders/metal manufacturing/fabrication\nMinimum of 1 year of experience\nExperience operating overhead cranes\nExperience operating forklifts\nAbility to proficiently read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements\nThe ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendance\nThe ability to stand throughout the day, and climb on/off equipment, and lift materials more than 50 pounds regularly\nA high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
