The specific pay rate/salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by several factors including experience, education, specialized certifications from OEMs, and where the job is located.
The Parts Coordinator is responsible for ordering, receiving, processing, shop distribution quality checking, and monitoring parts throughout the repair process. Working closely with the General Manager, Estimators, and Technicians for parts-related issues within the shop.
Job Responsibilities:
Order parts from vendors and dealerships based on estimates and supplements
Communicate with estimators regarding part availability, delivery, delays, etc.
Return incorrect parts immediately to vendors
Monitor Deliveries and track parts status. Communicate with vendors on status if needed
Drive parts-related KPI’s
Mirror match part orders to corresponding repair orders
Inspect and check in parts, identify damage upon delivery
Monitor Deliveries
All other duties assigned
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience working at a collision repair center in a parts capacity
Knowledge of CCC ONE estimating software is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of automotive parts
Ability to effectively communicate with others
Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and work orders
Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments
Must be at least 18 years of age
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel and pull
Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs)
Standing, sitting, and walking
Performing repetitive motions
