This position worksclosely with all departments to create compelling content that increases awareness,supports volunteer recruitment, strengthens community engagement, and advancesfundraising efforts.The Communications Coordinator serves as the organization's primary content creatorand brand steward, ensuring all communications are accurate, engaging, missionfocused,and aligned with CASA's values. This position will also support special events,public relations initiatives, and organizational marketing campaigns while gainingexposure to broader development and event management functions.Essential Responsibilities & Duties Communications & Social Media Develop and manage CASA's social media content calendar Create, schedule, and publish content across all social media platforms Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries Track and report engagement, reach, and performance metrics Assist with public relations efforts, including press releases and mediaoutreach Content Creation & Graphic Design Design digital and print materials including social media graphics, brochures,flyers, annual reports, event collateral, presentations, and recruitmentmaterials Create compelling written content including captions, articles, impact stories,and donor communications Maintain brand standards across all communication channels Edit and proofread content for accuracy and consistency Email Marketing & Storytelling Create and distribute monthly e-newsletters and special campaigncommunications Collaborate with program staff to identify and develop stories that highlightCASA's mission and impact Maintain an organized library of stories, photos, and marketing assets Photography, Video & Digital Assets Capture and edit photos and short-form videos for marketing and storytellingpurposes Maintain and organize the organization's digital asset library Assist with visual coverage of events and program activities Website Management Maintain and update CASA's website content Ensure website information remains current and accurate Coordinate with vendors and hosting providers as needed Monitor website performance and functionality Marketing & Event Support Create promotional materials for fundraising campaigns, volunteerrecruitment efforts, and special events Assist with event marketing and sponsorship recognition Support organizational campaigns through coordinated communicationsstrategies Attend and assist with select CASA events, including occasional evenings andweekends Growth Responsibilities This position offers opportunities for professional growth and increasingresponsibility in communications, marketing, public relations, and eventManagement Which May Include Campaign planningii. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations,Journalism, Graphic Design, or related field is preferred Minimum required experience includes: Two to three years of experience in marketing, communications, publicrelations, graphic design, or related field Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, content creation, andstorytelling abilities Experience managing social media platforms for an organization orbusiness Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite Experience with email marketing platforms and website contentmanagement systems Approved criminal and DFPS background is required Preferred qualifications include: Photography and basic video editing experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projectsand deadlines Qualities we look for: Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct Demonstrated passion for CASA’s mission Self-starter with minimal guidance required Highly organized Able to work collaboratively in a team environmentSalary & BenefitsCASA of the South Plains offers paid vacation, paid holidays including extended Christmasbreak, flexible work schedule, cell phone stipend. Paid time off increases with years ofservice. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to Noon.Hybrid work model may be an option.
