The Data Engineer plays a critical role in operationalizing data for analytics, supporting predictive and prescriptive use cases, and continuously improving data architecture, automation, and performance.\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on data and software engineer with strong Azure data engineering experience, a passion for solving complex business problems with data, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.\n\nPosition Duties: -Design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data architectures and pipelines aligned with ETL best practices using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and SSIS\n\nBuild and manage structured and unstructured data pipelines supporting analytics, reporting, and downstream data products\nDevelop and optimize complex SQL and T-SQL scripts (DDL, DML, DQL, TCL) across relational databases including SQL Server and DB2\nImplement data transformation, validation, and data quality checks to ensure reliable and trusted data\nPrepare and structure data to support descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics use cases\nTroubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis across systems and processes\nSupport deployment of data solutions into production environments with a focus on stability, scalability, and operational efficiency\nRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience with Big Data technology and writing complex T-SQL scripts in SSMS to interact with relational databases is required.
