Company Description Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training & Evaluation Unit Two (EODTEU TWO) provides advanced training and evaluation support to explosive ordnance disposal professionals operating in complex, high-risk environments. The unit focuses on developing, validating, and improving techniques, tactics, and procedures that enhance operational readiness and safety. Team members collaborate with military and civilian partners to plan, coordinate, and execute specialized training events and evaluations. The work environment values precision, accountability, and mission-focused teamwork, offering meaningful opportunities to support national security objectives.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in the Hampton Roads, Virginia Metropolitan Area. The Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and oversee training and evaluation projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining project requirements, developing schedules, managing resources, and coordinating with internal teams, leadership, and external stakeholders. The role involves tracking project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate documentation and status reports. The Project Manager will also support logistics planning for training events, ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes.Qualifications Strong project coordination and oversight capabilities, including Project Management experience and familiarity with structured project lifecycles.Experience with Expeditor and Expediting responsibilities, ensuring timely movement of materials, information, and approvals to keep projects on schedule.Background in Inspection activities, including verifying deliverables, quality standards, and compliance with project or training requirements.Logistics Management skills to support planning, movement, and tracking of personnel, equipment, and materials for training and evaluation events.Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, prepare concise reports, and present project updates to leadership.Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.Proficiency with common project management and office software tools (e.g., MS Project or equivalent, MS Office Suite, collaboration platforms).Bachelor’s degree in business, management, logistics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.Prior experience in defense, training, or military-support environments is beneficial; familiarity with EOD or similar operations is a plus.Ability to work on-site full time in the Hampton Roads, VA area and collaborate effectively as part of a mission-focused team.
