Essential functions: • Performing structural analysis in FEMAP/NASTRAN of metallic and composite structures. • Static and dynamic analysis in support of Major/Minor and simple to complex Tooling fixtures and structures Core Competencies • Analysis of simple to complex problems via hand calculations and FEM, respectively. • Experience with stress analysis techniques, concepts and practices • Computer Aided Design Tools - Basic knowledge of computer aided design tools and systems (CATIA/NX). Able to manipulate data sets, (e.g., compare CATIA to measurement data, create stereo lithography files). • Engineering Drawings & Specs - Basic ability to create, read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications in accordance with ASME 14.5.
