Transform the everyday with us! Our client, Siemens Corporation, is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to support rapid growth driven by the expanding data center market.
About The Role: This high-impact role involves working cross‑functionally with suppliers, R&D, procurement, and field teams to ensure quality excellence across the supply chain.
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for supplier qualification, auditing, PPAP management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position is ideal for someone hands‑on, independent, and experienced in supplier quality who thrives in a fast‑paced, growth‑driven environment.
What You’ll Do
Supplier Auditing & Qualification
Conduct supplier audits using VDA6.3 standards (P2–P7)
Evaluate and qualify new and existing suppliers
Lead audit planning, execution, reporting, and follow‑ups
Quality Planning & PPAP
Manage full PPAP lifecycle for new and modified components
Approve documentation (PFMEA, control plans, process flows)
Ensure compliance with quality and performance standards
Supplier Quality Assurance
Develop and implement Quality Assurance Agreements (QAA)
Drive supplier compliance and quality system alignment
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
Lead root cause analysis (8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, PDCA)
Drive corrective and preventive actions
Analyze trends and improve supplier performance
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Act as the bridge between suppliers, R&D, procurement, and field teams
Manage supplier‑related quality issues and escalations
Support cost recovery related to non‑conformities
Strategic Initiatives
Contribute to supplier strategy and cost‑reduction projects
Collaborate with global teams to align quality standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Engineering preferred) OR equivalent technical experience
5+ years in manufacturing, quality, or production environments
3+ years of experience in:
Supplier quality engineering
PPAP management and supplier audits
Root cause analysis and problem‑solving methodologies
Strong understanding of:
Engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
Quality systems and standards
Ability to work independently and drive results
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
VDA6.3 Auditor certification (or strong experience)
Background in automotive or regulated manufacturing
SAP (Quality Module) experience
PLM tools (TeamCenter or similar)
Valid passport for international travel
