DevOps Automation EngineersThis position is for Automation Engineers with experience in application development lifecycle automation to join an expanding DevOps Team. The DevOps service supports application teams in a highly integrated, complex environment. Responsibilities include interfacing with application development teams to determine the most efficient method of automating application lifecycle development activities, working with application teams and technology partners to onboard applications into the DevOps-Automation Service, leading onboard efforts and matrix teams of automation engineers, and developing, architecting, integrating, and supporting the integrated system and components. Once on-boarding is completed, the role involves maintaining a partnership with application teams and partners to modify and add workflows as appropriate, researching and implementing additional tools of value to the Automation Framework, and leading efforts in process reengineering.Requirements include significant experience with application development (Java and/or.Net), experience in creating and maintaining build scripts, experience with UrbanCode products and automation configurations, working knowledge of Maven/Nexus, extensive technical knowledge and experience to support the current DevOps tools and automation activities, and a demonstrated track record of taking manually built/deployed applications and working with application development teams to engineer a build/deploy process that is standardized, repeatable, and transparent. Additionally, the role requires a strong strategic thinker with the proven ability to execute and lead matrix teams and partners to implement and deliver.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
