Job Description Independent Living Services (ILS) Instructor – Job DescriptionPosition Summary:The ILS Instructor provides one-on-one support to adults with developmental disabilities to help them build independence at home and in the community.Responsibilities:Support participants with daily living skills (cleaning, cooking, organization, personal goals).Assist with community activities: shopping, transportation training, budgeting, and appointments.Document services accurately and on time.Communicate professionally with participants, families, and supervisors.Follow agency policies, Regional Center guidelines, and maintain participant confidentiality.Provide dependable, supportive, and person-centered services.Requirements:Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.Ability to work independently.Must pass background check (Live Scan).Strong communication and time-management skills.Experience with disabilities or caregiving preferred (not required).Schedule:Flexible hours; part-time and full-time positions available.Pay:Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
