Senior Credit Analyst
ProSearch is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst for one of our clients in Portland, Maine for a direct hire, hybrid opportunity offering long term stability, meaningful work, and room to grow at a sustainable pace. This newly created role sits within a collaborative Shared Financial Services team, where the Senior Credit Analyst supports the full order to cash cycle through thoughtful financial statement analysis, sound B2B credit judgment, and effective use of SAP finance systems. You'll partner closely across shared services finance, Sales, and Accounts Receivable to balance risk and opportunity, while also supporting credit insurance processes that protect the organization’s financial position.The OpportunityThis role is ideal for an experienced credit professional who enjoys hands on analysis and focused work. You will be trusted as a subject matter expert, influencing decisions through sound judgment and data, without managing people. Part of that expertise includes knowing what to do when a standard credit report is not available and being able to confidently answer the question, “What would you do if you can’t run a credit report?” This may include evaluating audited and unaudited financial statements, reviewing trade references and payment trends, assessing industry and market conditions, collaborating with Sales for business context, or recommending alternative risk mitigation such as adjusted terms, partial prepayment, or credit insurance coverage.There is room to grow over time for someone who consistently delivers quality work, takes ownership, and helps lighten the load of others.
