Assistants focused on delivering the highest quality programming and personal care for each man and woman we serve.\nTo be successful in this environment having experience working with men and women with developmental disabilities is a plus but not essential.\nWe are seeking men and women who have:\n- A high level of energy\n- A lot of patience\n- Ability to teach and motivate a very diverse group of people\n- Strong teamwork skills\n- Excellent customer service skills\n- Ability to read and write effectively\nExperience in the following is a huge plus:\n- Music\n- Art\n- Performing Arts\n- Multi Media\n- Exercise/Fitness\n- Community Service and Job Development\nAIM HIGHER is an Adult Day Program that uses a Fabulous Five Component Model to help the men and women we serve develop skills in areas of interest to them.\nProgram Assistants and Instructors work together in the delivery of curriculum in the Fabulous Five Components:\n- Functional Education\n- Life Skills\n- Arts & Expression\n- Community Access\n- Vocational (Job Skills & Readiness)\nIn addition to curriculum delivery all team members must be able to provide hands on care, assistance and support to men and women who require more extensive support.\nAreas of help include:\n- hand over hand assistance with projects\n- assistance with eating\n- assistance with toileting\n- assistance with mobility\n- any other areas that ensure the highest quality of care for those we serve\nStarting schedule is 6-8 hours per day Monday through Friday in between the hours of 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM and the starting wage is $17.00 per hour.\nBenefits are available after 60 days for full time employees.\nAIM HIGHER provides dedicated and qualified team members ample opportunity for advancement.\nIf you are
