The successful candidates will be responsible for acquiring and applying in-depth knowledge of:\nIndustrial Ventilation\nAir Pollution Control\nPumping Systems\nPneumatic Conveying\nChemical Feed & Metering\nExplosion Prevention & Protection\nThe Applications Engineer supports Outside Sales and is a technical resource for customers. The primary responsibilities are:\nProviding Customers with Technical help and Service\nEquipment Selections & Pricing\nSystem Design\nDeveloping Equipment Quotations & Technical Proposals\nField Work and Project Management\nOther duties will include direct interaction with prospective customers; equipment troubleshooting; presentations, and problem solving. This position blends sales and technical work with a heavy emphasis on customer interaction and sales.\nPosition Requirements:\nEducation- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering. Other disciplines will be considered, however Fluid Engineering’s products and applications are most closely related to these engineering disciplines.\nSkills- The candidate must be a self-starter and possess a strong desire to interact with customers and prospects. Strong computer skills (preferably Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SolidWorks and ACAD) are essential.
