Project Manager
SUMMARY: The Project Manager is responsible for reviewing all orders for accuracy prior to order entry, entering the production order in manufacturing system, placing orders for any outsource requirements and coordinating project outcome through the shipment phase while maintaining a high level of professionalism and present the organization in the best light possible.Key Responsibilities / Desired Experience:Review all details of project for accuracyReview current production plant schedules to determine “ship date”Complete and accurate input of detailed production informationDetail out all critical quality and sample requirementsFollow up with manufacturing and outsource suppliers to ensure customer delivery expectations are metAddress and answer customer inquiries in a timely mannerInvestigate customer concerns and provide a prompt, successful resolutionProvide and maintain excellent service and relationships with both internal and external customersFunction as liaison between all other departments, customers and/or Sales Representatives.Interface with Sales Representatives to ensure accuracy when quoting, entering orders, and invoicingEnter orders in system and reviews orders for pricing, item description, account information including shipping information and freight terms in spec/inventory item are accurateConfirms order to the customerInterface with Shipping Department regarding COD orders, customer pick-ups, and delivery scheduleExpedite orders as requiredHandles basic change orders, including purchase order number corrections, cancellations, routing changes, and expeditingResolves discrepancies with the customer via phone or email.Perform other duties and work in other areas as requested by ManagerMaintain positive and professional attitude at all times Required Skills:Must be highly organized and able to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills a mustBackground in corrugated manufacturing a plusKnowledge of manufacturing process and procedures a plusExperience within the print industry a plus, but not requiredMinimum of 3 to 5 years project management / customer service experience in an office setting a mustExcellent detail-oriented skills a mustAbility to effectively work in a Windows environment with experience in Outlook, Word, and ExcelExperience with Amtech software a plusMust be a proactive problem solver capable of critical thinking Must be able to multi-task using exceptional judgment and decision-making skillsHigh school graduate / Bachelor’s preferred
