Because our agency deals with massive, disparate datasets, expert-level SQL scripting and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) experience are absolute prerequisites. You will design the underlying data structures, optimize slow-running queries, and transform raw data into polished, high-performing Tableau dashboards that stakeholders rely on daily.About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade reporting solutions.ResponsibilitiesWrite, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and Common Table Expressions (CTEs) across large-scale relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake).Design, develop, and monitor robust ETL pipelines to clean, aggregate, and stage raw data for reporting.Perform query performance tuning to ensure Tableau dashboards render efficiently and database resources are used optimally.Collaborate with database administrators and data engineers to maintain and improve data warehouse models (Star/Snowflake schemas).Design and deploy highly interactive, intuitive, and visually clean Tableau dashboards that answer critical business questions.Implement advanced Tableau features including Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, parameters, complex table calculations, and custom mapping.Publish, manage, and schedule data extract refreshes on Tableau Server/Cloud.Gather business requirements from non-technical agency stakeholders and translate them into technical data models and visual mockups.QualificationsHeavy SQL Expertise: 5 or more years of experience writing advanced SQL.
