Office Coordinator/Bookkeeper

There is an exciting new opportunity for an Office Coordinator/Bookkeeper The ideal candidate will possess three plus years’ experience in the capacity of Office Coordinator/Bookkeeper or a comparable role to undertake the day-to-day responsibilities by providing administrative support to ensure all departments are supported and operations run efficiently. If you possess strong organizational skills, are detailed oriented, and have the ability to communicate proficiently with all levels of management, have strong interpersonal skills, and are proficient with MS Office to include a strong accounting aptitude. We have an excellent opportunity for you! Essential Duties and Responsibilities The office coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support. The responsibilities include but limited to answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, requisition of supplies as well as additional office duties. Process Invoices for Accounts Receivable (A/R) Must possess prior experience with the reconciliation of bills, invoices, and payment processes. Requires strong communication skills with the ability to relay and coordinate information with the Customer Service Department regarding A/R issues and credit memos. Answers and manage incoming telephone calls in a prompt and professional manner, routes calls to the appropriate employee or department, and transfer callers to voice-mail when staff members are unavailable. Responsible for greeting all visitors and directing them to the appropriate or personal in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner. Assists in the ordering and distribution of office supplies as needed. Administrative responsibilities may include assisting with other related office duties such as data entry, photocopying, faxing, filing, and collating. Maintains confidentiality of all work performed. Provides support to Administration with a concentration on accounting. Miscellaneous or other duties as required assigned. Requirements Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). 3 years plus years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong organizational skills. Customer service driven. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal communication skills. The abilities to prioritize, multi-task and to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments and to work as a team. Excellent phone etiquette Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of accounting software a plus.
