The ideal candidate will also bring strong automation capabilities, including leveraging APIs, scripting, and AI-driven workflows to streamline BI operations.\nThis is a direct-hire, full-time position with salary and benefits. InDev provides a comprehensive benefits package, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with match, Flexible Spending Account, and Paid Time Off (PTO)—including vacation and holiday pay.\nYour Future Duties and Responsibilities:\nBI Modernization & Dashboard Development\nBuild visually compelling, scalable, and high-performance Tableau dashboards from the ground up.\nLead the end-to-end migration from OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) to Tableau, ensuring business logic, data integrity, and visual quality are preserved or improved.\nDefine and promote best practices for dashboard design, performance optimization, and data visualization standards.\nRequirements Analysis & Collaboration\nWork closely with product owners to interpret business and functional requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.\nParticipate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and roadmap refinement.\nCollaborate with engineers, analysts, SMEs, and senior stakeholders to support data and visualization needs.\nPrototyping & Solution Engineering\nConvert conceptual requirements into rapid prototypes and production-ready BI solutions.\nCreate customized and interactive Tableau dashboards tailored to user needs.\nData Warehousing & Cloud Engineering\nDevelop and maintain scalable Data Warehousing solutions for large and complex datasets, ensuring performance and reliability.\nUtilize cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Databricks, or Azure to support BI and data operations.\nAPI Integrations & Automation\nImplement and maintain API integrations for ETL processes and automated data flows.\nAutomate BI and data operations using APIs, scripting, and orchestration tools to reduce manual workload.\nEnhance operational efficiency by automating recurring tasks such as report generation and data pipeline triggers.\nCommunication & Quality Assurance\nProactively communicate status updates, risks, and issues throughout the development lifecycle.\nEnsure all BI deliverables meet quality, performance, and reliability standards.\nRequired Qualifications:\n8+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Tableau development.\nMinimum 5+ years developing Tableau dashboards as a primary responsibility (not as a secondary analytics tool).\nStrong expertise in Tableau dashboard design, performance tuning, and best practices.\nExperience in data modeling and writing advanced SQL, including stored procedures.\nHands-on experience with OBIEE-to-Tableau migration projects.\nExperience with AWS cloud services and cloud data tools such as Databricks.\nProven ability to develop automation workflows for BI reporting, data loading, and data pipeline management.\nExperience optimizing BI solutions for high-frequency loads, large datasets, and demanding performance use cases.\nFamiliarity with data replication, high availability, and migration techniques.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with data integration tools/frameworks such as Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, Talend, or similar.\nExperience using serverless automation technologies such as AWS Lambda.\nUnderstanding of machine learning workflows or AI integrations in Databricks.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.\nExperience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like JIRA.\nAbout Us:\nAt InDev, we're not just a company; we're a trailblazing force transforming how technology solutions shape the future.
